Course Objectives:  Students will learn the basic use and function of computers for everyday, academic, and business purposes.  The course will teach students English typing skills along with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Publisher.  While many students will have some prior knowledge of and experience with these applications, students will gain a fuller knowledge of the functions of each, as well as an understanding of how these applications can be most effectively utilized for academic (and life) purposes.

Course Breakdown: The course will provide students with opportunities to build on their English keyboard skills and use them to build their knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite Applications.

Materials: Materials for class are available online.  During class, time will be given to use the computers at school.  Additional materials such as paper and pen are to be provided by the students.
